For two credit hours you must complete complete one version of the following project and 12 additional hours of
outside practice. For three credit hours you must complete two versions of the following project
plus 12 additional hours of outside practice.
A PowerPoint writing lesson created by you to be used in your class. It must contain:
A high quality A+ type example of the PowerPoint writing project you expect your students to complete.
Instruction explaining specifically the steps your students will follow to create their project. (This may be part of your example or a separate presentation.)
A template for students to use to create their project.
A rubric. This can be a student self assessment rubric or the rubric you intend to use to grade the finished project.
Each of the proceeding components is worth 25% of the
final grade.
Your finished project should be one that another teacher can use without any
verbal directions.
Grading for project:
A project that contains all four of the abovementioned
parts and is complete and ready to use in your classroom will receive a grade of
A.
Lesser quality projects will be graded using the following scale:
