Arizona is experiencing a population boom. So many new people are moving here. Many of those people are unaware of all Arizona has to offer. Just as we have learned about each other we need to learn all about Arizona. You and your partners are going to find out All About Arizona.
Each group will be made up of 4-5 students. It will be your job to conduct research on Arizona. Your group will present the information to the class through brochures, slide shows, and an oral presentation. Areas to look for information may include:
To accomplish this task you must, as a cooperative
group, go through the following steps.
* Make sure that everyone in
your group has a part of the assignment that they are responsible for. (i.e.:
library research, interviews, Web research, to name a few)
* each student in the group will keep a journal that documents all of your
resources and the information you have gathered
* research from the following sources: books, magazines, interviews, and the
Internet
* after the presentation is
developed, compile all the information into a slide show presentation and a
brochure. (you may present 1 presentation for the entire group - the slide
show presentation must contain at least 6 slides. )
* don't forget to schedule your presentation day and time as soon as you
are ready
